Expenses not included
Which expenses are not included in the cost of the trip?
The price of the trip DOES NOT INCLUDE return flights to Dubai from your city of origin, 4 evening meals, optional tourist activities or other expenses such as airport transfers, hotel extras (telephone, laundry, minibar etc.), porter tips, visa fees and all personal expenses.
What are the optional tourist activities?

Austral Group recommends Viator if you wish to book any of these activities as they can offer flexibility and a wide range of options.
When can I book my flight?
This trip will take place if the minimum number of 10 Alumni participants is reached. We ask that you do not book any flights until April 1, 2025. We will confirm that the trip will definitely go ahead a few days before this date.
How to sign up
Where and when can I sign up for the trip?
To sign up for this trip, you should go to the registration form on this page and complete your details. We will then send you the payment details and confirm your place.
What happens if I sign up and then have to cancel?
This information is detailed after you complete the first registration form.
Can I invite a companion even if they are not a member of EADA Alumni?
Yes. If your companion is also a business professional who would like to join us on the visits, just let us know and we will include them.
Can I cut the trip short if I need to?
If you are unable to complete the 5-day trip, the number of visits may be reduced to 4 days. Please inform Austral Group twenty days in advance so that the proportional part of the trip can be refunded.
Can I extend my stay in Dubai?
Yes, it is possible to extend your stay in Dubai at your own expense.
Trip insurance
Is it obligatory to have travel insurance?
Although Austral Group provides repatriation/medical evacuation insurance, cybersecurity insurance up to 1 million dollars and General and Professional Liability insurance up to 5 million dollars for all participants for the duration of the trip, we strongly recommend all participants to obtain individual travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellation, lost luggage and any other unforeseen expenses.
Visas
Do I need a visa to travel to Dubai?
Whether you need a visa to travel to Dubai depends on your nationality. Participants should apply for a tourist visa. It is important to start the visa application process in advance since it can take up to various weeks or months to be processed. We recommend you check the Henley Passport Index, which publishes an annual list of the countries that allow their passport holders to travel without a visa and contact the nearest United Arab Emirates Embassy to confirm current visa requirements.
Which documents do I need to request a visa?
To request a visa, you will need a valid passport, a visa application form, passport size photos, your trip itinerary, hotel reservation, proof of sufficient funds for your trip and travel insurance.
Will Austral Group help me with my visa request?
Austral Group provides general information about the visa request process, including advice regarding your application and an exclusive link to Visa HQ, which specializes in visa applications in collaboration with Austral Group. However, it is each participant’s responsibility to confirm current visa requirements with the UAE Embassy and complete their visa application The immigration authorities process all visa requests and Austral Group cannot intervene in this process.
