At EADA Business School, we have Anti-COVID-19 health and safety measures, implementing a plan that minimizes the risk of contagion

EADA Business School has configured and incorporated additional health and safety measures in our anti-COVID-19 EADA plan.

The plan has recognized with the "Disinfection Monitored" seal of SGS, which ensures the effectiveness of the cleaning and disinfection processes implemented at the EADA Campus.

Sello Desinfection Monitored SGS

What is included in this plan?

- Disinfection of critical areas: Minimize the presence of microorganisms, and specially viruses on surfaces susceptible to contamination, with virucidal products.

- Continuous disinfection: A disinfection of all classrooms and common areas is carried out daily and throughout the opening hours to the public.

- Continuous forced ventilation: This is a key factor to keeping the air free of pathogens. EADA will increase the frequency of natural and forced ventilation in its centres.

- Mask use: The use of a mask is not mandatory in EADA, according to Royal Decree 286/2022. We recommend the use of the mask to vulnerable people in any situation in which they have prolonged contact with people at a distance of less than 1.5 meters. By vulnerable people we mean: people over 60 years old, immunocompromised and pregnant women. If you are going to be in contact with these people at a distance of less than 1.5 meters, wear the mask as well.

The importance of co-responsibility

Safeguarding our campuses requires a joint effort.  EADA recommends:

- On public transport: Remember to protect yourself on public transport and at crowded events.

- Having symptoms: If you feel unwell or have symptoms associated with Covid-19, it is better to stay at home. If you are attending a programme, notify the programme director so he/she can provide you with online follow-up. Your well-being is the most important thing.

What should I do if I have symptoms of COVID-19?

If you have any symptoms of COVID-19, you must self-isolate at home for a period of 14 days. Please email the programme director and/or assistant immediately to inform them of the situation.

You should also provide information of the 5 people you have had closest contact with over the last 5 days. They will also have to self-isolate at home for a period of 14 days.

What should I do before I leave home?

Take your temperature before leaving home:

- if you have a temperature >37.3ºC

- or you have symptoms such as a cough and/or you are finding it difficult to breathe.

- if you have been in close contact with others (partners, relatives and people with whom you have shared the same space for at least 15 minutes at a distance of less than 2 metres at the time you started showing symptoms), please stay at home, inform others and call the public health service on 061.

Prioritise going to EADA on foot. If you use public transport, use a mask and avoid touching any surfaces. Do not touch your face without cleaning your hands first.

How do I access the EADA centres?

We will be carrying out temperature checks at all access points to our centres. This is for your own health and safety as well as that of the other users at the centre. If you have a temperature of over 37.3°C, you will not be permitted to enter the building for health and safety reasons. Please respect the queue and the safe 2-metre distance rule with the people around you. We recommend that you leave plenty of time to arrive at the centre before your class begins.

Once you have entered the centre, go directly to your assigned classroom. This will be clearly indicated on the virtual campus before your class. We ask you to check it before arriving at the centre. The classrooms will be opened 10 minutes before the class starts. The programme team will apply flexible measures to punctuality and attendance in the programme while this situation of exceptionality lasts. Please contact the programme team for further information regarding these measures.

Disinfectant is available in all areas of the centre. Please disinfect your hands before entering the classroom.

Follow the instructions and health and safety rules in all parts of the building.

What changes have taken place in the classrooms?

The tables and chairs in the classrooms have been distributed in accordance with the health and safety regulations. Please do not move or change their position. Chairs will not be pre-assigned. When you enter the classroom, please choose a seat quickly and reserve it by putting your name on the card.

Please do not wait in the corridors during the break or before and after the session. Remember to respect the 2-metre rule at all times.

Which areas are currently out of use?

Until further notice the following areas will be out of use and may not be accessed. Please consult the centre’s management for more information:

What if I need to use the toilet facilities?
