FAQS New Normality at EADA

EADA was first to open back its doors in June 2020 and we are happy to announce that EADA Business School has been fully open since then giving the possibility to our participants to enjoy their Master experience face-to-face or live online, under strict adherence to the social distancing guidelines required by the authorities.

In October 2020, our academic year began as planned, welcoming 55 nationalities in our city center campus. Our plan is to continue with this face-to-face model which guarantees the safety for our participants and faculty. We will also be offering flexibility, with classes in a live online format for those candidates who are not able to make the start of the October 2021 intake in person.

In these times of uncertainty, EADA would like to provide full support and flexibility to our international participants. For this reason, for those programmes with an intake in October of 2021, students arriving can choose to take the classes face-to-face or live online until they can safely arrive in Barcelona. If you are unable to travel due to international travel restrictions, this will allow you to start the year virtually before joining your classmates on campus later on.

Whether you choose to study one of our online programmes or whether we are forced to move online in the event of a quarantine, EADA offers a virtual learning environment that ensures a high-quality practical methodology and a personalised learning experience.

EADA has extensive experience in providing online executive education. Our team of academics has been working closely with the department of technology to make the necessary changes to be able to offer an online experience which is completely aligned with the face-to-face version and fully compliant with the national and international university systems which accredit our diplomas.

EADA is ready to provide a high-quality and immersive learning experience, in which you will be in the classroom, either physically or remotely. Thanks to our technology, the virtual format will guarantee a hands-on, interactive methodology and will include a wide range of different events related to networking, recruitment and extracurricular activities. The future of learning starts now and EADA is prepared.

If you would like to defer your enrolment or admission, EADA will be as supportive and flexible as possible.

If you have already paid your enrolment fee but you would prefer to postpone your studies, we will give priority to reserving your place in the next intake without further cost. Your enrolment fee will be entirely transferred to the payment plan corresponding to the new intake. Keep in mind that any special financial conditions (scholarships/discounts) cannot be transferred to a later intake.

More than ever we understand you need our support. We believe that education gives us the tools to navigate through uncertain and changing times and we support our international applicants that trust EADA’s high level of education to be able to do so.

Admissions deadlines have therefore been extended and we have opened rolling admissions for late applicants. Over the years we have designed an application process that is 100% online while providing a personal assessment to all our candidates.

We have developed our own online admission test platform so testing can be done from home. Technology is a way to bring us together so you can start planning your future now.

In addition, we have developed a series of initiatives to bring together our future cohort: masterclasses, Alumni webinars, one-on-one chats with future faculty members as well as pre-courses designed exclusively for our future participants. These are just some of the ways in which we have worked to create a strong bond with our participants to demonstrate EADA's commitment to providing a personalised learning experience.

The Spanish government continues to support international students who wish to come to Spain. For students from outside of the European Union, Spain has sent a clear message of welcome to foreign talent and any student visa holder will be allowed to enter the country, regardless of any active travel bans.

EADA is in regular contact with consular authorities to provide personalised feedback for students regarding any issues with the visa procedure in their home country.

If you have any problems in contacting your consulate and getting an appointment, please contact us at admissions@eada.edu and we will provide support.

Our future participants receive the support from our partner relocation agency which provides many resources to help with opening bank accounts, finding accommodation and processing residency cards as well as giving recommendations of things to do in the city.

Thanks to our extensive experience in online teaching, EADA already had the tools to be able to move all classes online for our entire 2019-2020 cohort over only a weekend. During lockdown, our priority in this virtual environment was to provide the same quality of classes, real life case simulations and participative dynamic that characterise our school’s methodology as well as provide more than ever the personal support needed by our participants. In company virtual training, coaching sessions and virtual career fairs have taken place. Extracurricular activities have been designed to bring together participants, staff, international faculty members and Alumni from all over the world in this unique virtual space.

EADA was first to reopen its doors to the 2019-20 cohort on June 8, 2020 with an Extended Programme to ensure that our international participants could relive the EADA experience. The Extended Programme added a month of traditional classes combined with company-based challenges and specialised conferences on topics like M&A, virtual leadership and innovation.

Our current cohort has enjoyed uninterrupted classes since the beginning of the programmes. During his academic year, we have had classes (or individuals) in quarantine intermittently, during which time the classes have been moved online smoothly for the quarantine period.

Be ready for tomorrow, today.
